Who we are
Social Cuts is a video production agency. This app is the private workspace we use with our clients and crew to plan and run video shoots. Accounts are created by Social Cuts for our clients and team — there is no public sign-up.
What we collect
We store your name, email address, and an encrypted password so you can sign in. Using the app creates business records — shoot schedules, locations, briefs, requests, and notifications addressed to you. If you allow notifications, we store a device push token so we can alert you about your shoots. That's it: no advertising identifiers, no tracking, no analytics profiles, and no selling or sharing of data with third parties for their own use.
How it's used
Your information is used only to run the service: showing you your shoots, sending shoot notifications and reminders, and adding you to calendar invites for shoots you're involved in. Data is stored with our infrastructure providers (Supabase and Vercel) and protected by role-based access controls — clients can only see their own organization's shoots, and crew can only see shoots assigned to them.
Face ID
If you enable Face ID sign-in, your login is stored in your device's secure Keychain by Apple and never leaves your phone. Biometric data itself is handled entirely by iOS — we never see it.
Your choices
You can turn off push notifications in iOS Settings at any time. To access, correct, or delete your account and its data, contact us and we'll take care of it promptly.
